Prof. Mei-Heng Yueh is a faculty member in the Department of Mathematics at National Taiwan Normal University. His research focuses on the theory and methods of computational geometry. He has developed a systematic framework of effective and reliable energy optimization algorithms for computing conformal, authalic, and distortion-balancing parameterizations of simplicial surfaces. These techniques have been successfully applied to 3D animation and medical image analysis.
